#268 sYs at KV Summer Fashion Month

Dear Readers,

In today's blog I'm showing you a gown by sYs which is called "Ateis". This mesh gown is available at the KV Summer Fashion Month.

I'm also wearing an eye tattoo by White Widow that is available at KV Summer Fashion Month and is called Fraise Black w/eyeshadows.

The event will take place from the 1st to the 30th of June.

In the frame of this big event we have 3 different events linked to each other:

We will proclaim the winner and the runners-up of the contest in June, 25th:

- the winner: during the sponsors fashion show (from 12.30pm SLT to 1.30pm SLT); - 1st runner-up: during the live concert(from 1.30pm SLT to 2.30pm SLT);

- 2nd runner-up: during the dj session (from 2.30pm SLT to 3.30pm SLT).

Prizes will only be assigned if the winner(s) will be in KV sim during the proclamation.

#267 Moolala @ Fashion for Life

Dear Readers,

Almost everybody knows about Fashion for Life (hereafter FFL) and the ones who are new to SL will find out soon. Everybody has their own story when it comes to cancer. It's everywhere around us. In short I will share my story with you and I'm also showing you the Rylee Ruffle Pants suit by Moolala, participant for the FFL event.

My parents divorced when I was 5. My granddad was my father. I got violently ill when I was 6 and I got wrongly diagnosed with a rare type of bone cancer due to thousands of fractures in my bones. Later it was found out that I had a problem with my kidneys and didn't hold any calcium in my body. I got behind in school, in social interactions but my grandfather was a constant factor in my life. When I turned 18 it was him that received the bad news. He had pains in his knee. After numerous painful testing it became clear he had cancel all over his body and there wasn't much more they could do. It took him a year to finally leave this life. He carried his burden like a hero, a warrior. He was in so much pain but he never showed it. This is a tribute to the man that mattered to me most. My grandfather.

Please donate, do it for the ones that are suffering today and to help stop the suffering tomorrow.

Fashion For Life is an event supporting Second Life’s Relay For Life campaign to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. It will run from June 7th through June 20th from midnight to midnight. All Fashion For Life events will happen during that time period.

In addition to 10 sims of fashions, there will be runways shows and a lookbook organized and sponsored by Best of SL under the direction of Reign Congrejo. There will also be live music and DJs organized and sponsored by Zenzibar’s Zzoie Zee.

While Relay For Life has several mega-events, there is only one called Fashion For Life. Any other event calling itself by that name is not affiliated with Relay For Life and not an official Relay For Life event.

#53 Black and White...

Dear Readers,

Black and White... They both aren't colors but properties. So how do I describe these non colors to be my favorite colors? These are my favorite properties? That doesn't sound right to me. Either way, black and white gives a certain feel to a picture. Black and White thinkers often struggle with decisions in life. Black and white is also Fashion. Wear black and it makes you look slimmer, wear white and it creates the total opposite. Combining it together makes fashion abstract, exciting and timeless.

Since not too long ago I began blogging for the brand No.7 which is owned by Shortcake Sugarplum. She creates some very stylish items and today I'm wearing one of her Bethlehem Lashes. I am totally sold on the things she creates. Her items are so fun to use and wake up the creative side in people.

Also in today's look I'm showing you one of the newest releases from sYs, the majestic long dress. This dress is mesh and comes in 5 different sizes. The sleeves of the arms are adjustable in size through a hud that comes with the package.

And last but not least in today's blog I'm showing you the 9 inch nails by Jamman. These are rigged mesh nails for regular hands (not Slink). The nails come with 800 different texture options and 11 different nails sizes.
